Dublin Central is my home. Dublin Central is where my parents and my three brothers live, it’s where my friends and their families live. Dublin Central is where I grew up, and where I now spend my time, working with the organisations and the people of our community to try to make Dublin Central a better place to live, work and raise a family.
This work has taught me lots of things, but principally, it is that: in Ireland, to affect local change, we must work towards a national vision.
By becoming a Social Democrat, under the leadership of Catherine Murphy TD, Róisín Shortall TD and Stephen Donnelly TD, I have joined a group of people with exceptional integrity and character, who embody the kind of principled leadership that this country has lacked for decades. Our mission is to open up the way politics is done in Ireland so as to better serve its people, to strengthen Ireland’s economy towards a sustainable and prosperous future and to place a fairer, more progressive and more inclusive social vision at the centre of all that we do as a party and as a nation.
Together, I believe we can make a better Ireland for all of our citizens. I hope you’ll join me in that effort.
